*instructions

Before anything else, we'll be making a basic béchamel sauce to use later in the recipe! First, bring a medium saucepan and melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the flour and stir until smooth. Continue to cook the mixture until it turns a light golden color, about six or seven minutes.

Meanwhile, heat the milk in a separate saucepan until almost boiling. Once it is hot enough, gradually add 1 cup of hot milk to the butter, continuing to whisk all the time until smooth. Once all the milk is incorporated, bring everything to a boil and let it cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Finally season it with salt and nutmeg and you are good to go!

Now that the sauce is ready, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Next, get a large bowl and toss the beef packet with chopped parsley and paprika. Add a little salt and pepper as well. Once you have all the ingredients together, mix all the ingredients together until smooth.

Next, peel three potatoes and boil them until semi-soft, about seven minutes. Once they're ready, take them out and slice them, and arrange them around the bottom of a round glass baking dish. Lay a flat layer on the bottom and arrange another layer around the sides as well.

Next, bring the meat mixture and turn it into meatballs the size of an ice cream spoon - the whole thing should make about 15 meatballs. Next, arrange them on the potato slices you laid earlier.

Once you put the meatballs together, use the remaining potato slices to set walls between the meatballs so that each has its own section. Pour the béchamel sauce into each of the "compartments" until they are relatively full and on top of everything a thin layer of grated mozzarella.

Finally, place the entire dish in your preheated oven for 15 minutes. Once you're done, you'll have a delicious, cheesy, casserole-style French dish that the whole family will love!

Enjoy !
