Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

*Ingredients / for 5 people

°36 mushrooms

°2 tablespoons soft butter

°4 shallots, chopped

°7 ounces crabmeat, drained

°1 tablespoon lemon juice

°1/2 teaspoon chili powder

°1 cup sour cream

°1/2 cup grated parmesan

°1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese


°Salt and pepper


1Preheat the oven to 200°C.

2Wipe the mushrooms well with a damp cloth.

3Remove the stems from the mushrooms and chop them finely.

4Place the mushroom heads on a buttered baking sheet.

5Mix the butter, shallot, crabmeat, lemon juice, chili powder, salt and pepper.

To finish

Stir in the chopped mushroom stems, sour cream and parmesan. Stuff mushroom caps with this mix. Sprinkle with cheddar and paprika. Bake for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
