Cherry Sugar and Cheese Cake


°500 gr of cottage cheese
°100 gr flour
°150 g sugar
°3 eggs
°1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
°1 jar of pitted cherries (680 gr)


Preheat the oven to 180°C. Drain the cherries.

Beat the eggs and sugar for 5 min so that the mixture triples in volume. Add the flour while still beating then the cottage cheese little by little. And finally add the liquid vanilla.

Pour the dough into a 22 cm mould lined with parchment paper.
Place the cherries harmoniously on the entire surface of the cake. Feel free to lightly press in some cherries.

Bake at 180°C for 35/40 min.
To taste preferably after a night in the cool.
